phpmyadmin problem

Hello
I can't login to phpmyadmin(2.5.6) from the link in my cpanel. It is showing wrong username/password.....Recently i deleted my one database without removing the users. Now I can create new users ..but can't delete them. I also tried resetting my Mysql user password in whm...but no way near success...

"Wrong username/password. Access denied." this is the error message i am getting.

Can anyone help me by letting me know what happened to my phpmyadmin????

Very often phpmyadmin has bugs after cPanel updates, your server may have done an automatic update just before this started.

Try updating cPanel again through ssh using /scripts/upcp that command will update your whole cPanel and should have fixes for any bugs in the last versions (Plus a few more )

You might want to try clearing the tables as well.
