San Ramon, CA – Site5 Internet Solutions, Inc. is putting out an open call to the public for some fresh advertising ideas in a new contest. Dubbed the “Out-Brand Site5 Competition,” the popular web hosting company is challenging designers and marketers of all levels to submit their ideas for a fresh spin on Site5’s brand in the form of a new full-page advertisement. The ad will be featured on the back cover of the upcoming March/April issue of Ping!Zine Web Hosting Magazine. Winners of the contest will be able to plug themselves or their company on the advertisement itself, which will reach the eyes of Ping!Zine’s some 20,000-plus subscribers. In addition, winners will receive a free year on one of Site5’s reseller hosting plans and one of Apple’s brand new iPod Shuffles.
Site5 is very excited about their first major contest. “First off, I think it’s a great way to get some fresh advertising ideas,” says Site5’s President, Rod Armstrong, who also happens to be their lead designer and head judge on the contest. “We’re very excited to see what gets entered.” According to the official website, potential winners will be graded on creativity, aesthetics, and use of Site5’s brand.
