Funded Southern California based start-up deploying a state of the art platform/service is seeking a self-motivated, hard working Linux Systems Administrator with the following skills and experience:
•3+ years Linux experience essential.
•Confident working at filesystem and kernel level (candidates will be asked a series of technical questions to demonstrate the required proficiency - no "wannabe" Linux admins please)
•Cpanel/WHM knowledge highly desirable
•Solid understanding of networking fundamentals (vlans, layer2 and 3, switching, etc) desirable
•Familiarity with hardware setup/confguration and data center environment a plus
•Familiarity with Grid Comptuing concepts and applications desirable
Admin hired can expect a demanding full time position with significant responsibility over a state of the art infrastructure.
