The Hosting Factory - Please review

Hi everyone,

I would love for you to visit and review my new web site; The Hosting Factory which is a new web host with the ability to build your own web hosting package.

I've really tried to make the entire site as user friendly as possible, the cube town illustration that runs through the entire site is also interactive on the shared and reseller pages, it will zoom in and select the package. I know this isn't blindingly obvious, see what you think.

If you could test out the Build your own package it would be much appreciated. (please mark as *test* if submitting)

I am open to any constructive criticism and new ideas you throw my way, and I will happily make changes to the site for the better.

nice rich graphics with lots of gap in the site .. looks good to eye and i was finding the logo too is this site without logo or its still under construction ?

I made a whole bunch of changes to the web site from comments and suggestions I got from people on this and a couple of other forums. Logo is now in top left corner sliced (also links back home)... I prefer this to the small full logo. ALT tags on hosting packages top right. I got rid of the flash, and replaced it with the current special offer. Added more color to shared and reseller package pages. Reworded a few of the pages with more inclusion of the live help that I am trying to promote people to use.

Wow. What a cool presented web site. I love the design, Dan, great job.
The logo itself (the fact it is displaying only a fraction of it), the graphics, the style and, as trraju mentioned, it is very pleasing to the eye.

I would maybe, however, suggest to highlight your Shared and Reseller hosting packages more. Right now there are many links and if you are a first-time visitor, it is hard to identify where the ready-to-go packages are.

Artashes - First of all thank you for your kind words and for pointing out the missing images!... I knew I would forget something, anyway they are up now. I took your advice and made the shared and reseller links in the top nav bold, like you say it will help the first time visitor.

I designed and programmed the web site, I have a strong web/graphic design background.

Dan, you have a great website. It is cool how someone can calculate their own custom plan without having to send an e-mail to the host.

Just a minor error I found on the site (http://www.thehostingfactory.com/web_hosting/build_your_own.php):

Please determin how much traffic your site will generate.

"determin" should be determine.

And, I believe that on http://www.thehostingfactory.com/web_hosting/overview.html, the header above "PHP Version: (click to view)" is a broken image.
