Generally, i don't see any difference between such defintitions.
i just found some hosting using the other term but simply
means the same thing.
"there is just no unlimited hosting"

or is there:devil:
 
No I don't believe that there is such a thing as truly unlimited hosting. The companies who offer this will eventually find a way to oust those who are using too many of their resources, and so you become inconvenienced. Not worth it.
 
As it's been said many times before and everybody agrees with this, there is no such thing as unlimited. It is offered though, based on the fact that the customer will not use "unlimited" amount of resources, but will be attracted by the idea of having such a thing. Plus, there might be some clauses mentioned in small letters in the TOS that stipulate certain limits (define unlimited :) ).

You can have unmetered hosting which means you are not charged for over usage of bandwidth or disk space.
