in your company did you use gitlab? Did you like it?

Gitlab is the powerful and easy to use tool.
Its an excellent alternative to GitHub,
One can be deployed it on their premises for free of cost and much more.

If you're considering this product then I can recommend you to go for it because you can create private repositories for free and save your money.

Meh, I never got the whole concept behind the 'git' thing. Seriously. Use proper version control and you're all good.

I've been using it for over an year, it's excellent. If you're hosting it on-premise, it's free with the basic features, which were enough for me.

Gitlab

Gitlab has been around for a while, and if you would a ask most website developers it great. I wish there were a bit of a stronger community element to it, but as it stands i guess you cant have everything. I have had numerious projects that would not be completed because of gitlab. ( guess i would have tried to find a workaround, but thats what gitlabs there for right ? )

We are using GitLab on private server <URL snip> and it is perfect! Why did we choose to host on own server? Because of the simple reason, we are making video games and our games have 10 - 20 GB files so we need a lot of space and it will cost a lot monthly.
