What do You Think of Funky TLDs?

I see some really weird URLs sometimes, with one in particular catching my eye. It was a driving website (I'm learning) and was www.tellXXXXXX.me
I won't fill it out, its unimportant. Anyway the me at the end (Montenegro TLD) read really well with the URL, flowed incredibly well. Normally I hate to see these-they are so crass and clichéd, but this worked well.

Do you have any like this, and what do you think of sites that do?

.me is not uncommon. We have started pre-orders for .co domains this year.

But our most uncommon ones are eu.com, gb.com, gb.net, uk.com and uk.net. But we do get requests for them.

How is it possible that .me is a national domain for Montenegro? I though that .me was just another global instance like .com or .net?

.me and .us and even a few sites I've seen that are .ca (and promoting California) have been well thought out. There's quite a few "follow.me" and "contact.me" type sites out there that bank on this extension. Personally, I stick with .com, .net .co.uk, .au and the other main extensions for business, but there are some creative ones out there that just "work"
