WHMCS + Realtime Register Phone number issue

I hope someone here can help me out, because WHMCS support hasn't been able to help me out so far.

When I try to register a domain trough Realtime Register it gives me an error that the phone number format is incorrect.

WHMCS support says that any phone numbers should be automatically reformatted for these things, but that doesn't seem to happen.

Anyone have experience with this problem or an idea on how to fix it?

I think you need to set it as follows base from this link from realtime register.

Examples
The following examples demonstrate how these symbols can be used to specify a phone number format:
Number: +31 (0) 38 453 0759
Format: +%c (0) %a %s
Number: 0031 038 4530759
Format: 00%c 0%a %s
Number: 038-4530759
Format: 0%a-%s

What version of WHMCS are you using, I have seen this link that there is still issue in this version 4.4.2

Maybe this is fixed in version 5 of WHMCS, but still in beta, hopefully it will be launched asap.

version 5 not too far away. as a beta tester we have just got the 1st draft of the new clientarea.

ive not found any major issues and not seen any in the beta forum.

only thing is their lame attempt to create a sub menu system in the admin area, but i have been working on my own way to clean this up

I dont have an account with realtime register, so have not tested that 1
