I would recommend Ahosting.biz as a quality provider for the reselling. Reputable company with great support and attractive prices... Just look up if you are not decided yet.

Also I think that you shouldn't forget about such companies like lunarpages.com, mmhosting.com and resellerzoom.com which have beed doing the great reseller web hosting for several years.

That is SO TRUE. I find companies that have been in business longer, (expecially the 2 or 3 guy operations) tend to have the WORST attitude when it comes to customer service. Dunno why that is. They just seem to take customers for granted.

To the OP, i Never tried hostww, but I think Hostgator is a great company to go with.

I've also been with ResellersPanel (LiquidNet) since February 2006. The only hiccup I had with them was a double-billing for a couple months' service. I think it was my fault (accidentally subscribed twice in Paypal) They applied the overpayment for me, no problems.

It is good to start business with a reselling.

I may recommend you to look up Ahosting.biz - this companyhas good features relatively reselling, their accounts are of comparably low price and reputation is also good.

What about windows reselling? I suppose it is not less popular, and profitable nowadays.. such a good companies of windows specialization as aspnix.com - might become good soultion, as many people are looking for such reselling.
