3rd party Cookies from hostingdiscussions.com

Popped into the site today and noticed the index page presented me with a request for hostrelease.com to place a Cookie on my Computer?

Naturally I refused it and this is the first time a 3rd party Cookie was presented. Is this something new?

The thing about Cookies is that unless one uses a Browser with Cookie mgmt features like Mozillia or a 3rd part Cookie program, one would never know a Cookie is trying to placed or is placed.


Edit: a quick check of the index page coding showed me this:

Which I can only presume, is where the Cookie request is coming from.
