US $80/GB? that better be the best BW in the world

I have never seen BW for that much and i have been around for a while

I dont mean to knock your services or prices

on my "Outragouse meter"

thats ranks a

"DAMN"

But your prices for memory is pretty good i use to pay US $138.00 per 128MB plus US $34.00 for install

It's a totally different ballgame down here mate. The outgoing data is free and un-metered. Whatever the box can handle. We get charged for incoming data, and so that must be passed on.

Whilst it may not be the perfect environment for shared/virtual hosting (and explains why very few people actually venture into the hosting market down here without using US based servers), it's perfect for a web developer/software house looking for a base for their data and to not have to worry about data transfer.

And if someone was going to be uploading more than a GB a month to their own server, it's always possible to work around this, with the Aussie provider obtaining that data (download/CD in the mail) and putting it on the server for a fee which makes it feasible.

It's a unique situation, but it's very workable.

Cheers

Gary

in my personal web server i have about 13% incoming traffic ,
and thats not ppl uploading files ....

Well Aussie Hosts now it makes a little more sense to me
