Best Anti-Virus Software?

I had Norton antivirus, and Spysweeper but still I ended up with a virus that crashed my computer. I know found AVG which seems to work much better. Any opinions? I definately don't want to lose everything again!

I'd have to say linux. hehe. Since I think you're talking more about windows I'd have to say I always used Norton back in my windows days.

Well I use AVG and never had any problems.

Someone else told me about AVG. I guess I need to do a search on it and see where I can download or buy it.

Funny thing is I don't use virus software heh. Just Spyware Doctor and never had a problem since.

Have u guys ever heard of Avast, this is also a free antivirus and imo much better than AVG. I myself was using AVG for a year before switching to Avast

I prefer Trend Micro' for both enterprise and personal use.

i use norton anti virus i think its top i daint purchase it...just came with my computer ... but i need too update membership now should i sign up or can someone recommend a better one ??

i suggest nod32 antivurus. no need a firewall with it

I use AVG free, MS anti spyware and zone alarms firewall. I gotta compliement AVG a great product for the price.
