al1, please understand that when you ask for a one-dollar plan, most businesses will expect you to sign up for at least 6-12 months. Why? If you are to pay $1 every month, the transaction fee alone will take away at least 50% of that dollar. The rest is supposed to cover bandwidth, hardware, software, support services, etc.

So by paying 6-12 months ahead, at least you cut their basic transcation costs.
 
Plus, if you don't get that Pizza this weekend you will be able to fork out the $12 for a year of hosting.
 
Hmm... $12 a pizza... is that the regular price there? Then I'm glad I live out here! I get 3-4 good pizzas with those money. :)
 
$12 is cheap for a pizza here Dan. But they're damn good pizzas.

I've had pizzas in many countries but outside of North America and Italy, the experience has left a lot to be desired.
