Democratic Convention

Did anybody watch the democratic convention on CNN? I was seriously laughing my pants off when I heard the director freaking out that the balloons weren't comming down fast enough. Then he started cursing and the announcers started making excuses and appologizing for the use of that language. It was very funny. I'm so glad I got it on tape!

I don't watch the convention - politics bores me to death.

Very funny story. I don't watch CNN (or TV) much though. Being european I have little interest in american politics anyway. Maybe I'll see this on the news though.

I don't know if it will make the news, but it did make the Philadelphia Inquirer. In a story titled, "Go Balloons. Go Balloons!". It said that the balloons were all timed for release and that the director just didn't really like the pace. He wanted them all at once.

I only caught the Clinton segment, as that was the one thing I wanted to see.

I must say, Bill Clinton is without a doubt, one of the best speakers of the modern era - everything he says, seems to run so smoothly.
