I had the same thought but kept it to myself Maybe it is a myth that the UK is rainy and dreary? Has been somewhat nice most times I've been there but I wouldn't exactly call it sunny to be honest.

I guess there are different degrees of sunny. I live in Los Angeles and today it has not beeen all that sunny!
