can ipb forum be installed on a lxadmin panel because i never tryed before and i just gived it ago today and it never loaded anything do they only work for directadmin and cpanel

Lxadmin is the old name. That panel is now called Kloxo.
I am not familiar with it myself, but technically it should work.
I would say the best thing to do is to contact the developers of the forum software and inquire with them: http://www.invisionpower.com/

From what I've heard it is still pretty buggy, yes. If you intend to host clients on it then I would suggest to go with a more established panel like cPanel. It's really not a big expense to get a server license

I didn't understand why did you ask about lxadmin. You'd better get cPanel or DirectAdmin.

I don't see why the control panel would affect your ability to run a forum (ipb in this case). Most only really require php and mysql (of not too old versions) to be running properly on the server.
