Ms Sql 2008 connection.

Hi,

I am using hosting services where sql server 2008 is installed but I created database in sql 2005. I am unable to connect my database when I asked to support team they replied that my Visual Studio Version is old and that can not be used to connect sql 2008. Can anybody tell me how to check that with using visual studio or tell me the appropriate version of that software so that I can overcome the problem.
