Hi, I'm looking for a server that will be used to host BZflag, a light-weight, open-source, multiplayer game. Being a gaming server, my biggest priority is your network: I need optimal UDP support and minimal packet loss.
My budget is $25-$50 a month. I'm looking for something like this 1.7 Ghz Celeron, 512 mb of ram, 10Mbps dedicated server from Sago, which costs $46 a month (no setup fees). If you can offer a better deal then you can have my business.
These specs are very sufficient for what I'm doing, so you may offer a less powerful server so long as the price is also less. My ideal price would be something in the low-mid $30s, but I am willing to go higher if I must.
Dedicated preferred, but I'll take offers on half-shares or VPS as well. For those curious, the $50 limit is in place because this is a free game and we fund public servers through donations. Thanks!
