Scene Group Oy Ltd, the leading Finnish hosting provider, has introduced R1Soft's Continuous Data Protection (CDP) technology as the first Finland based hosting provider. Scene Group Oy Ltd will provide the backup service to all hosting customers, domestic and international, at no extra cost. CDP technology powered backup solutions will be available for dedicated server customers as addon service.
R1soft's CDP technology allows full backups of each server four times a day, with multiple restore points, ensuring there is always fresh backups available. Customers have access to restore a single file, directory, MySQL database or even a single MySQL table. Thanks to bare metal restore functionality, disaster recovery is up to 10 times faster than before.
