:santa: Starting an online business is not always as easy as it may sound. But, running an online business has many benefits over its offline counterpart. First, and the most appealing, is you'll most likely be working from home from your own computer, and working the hours that suit you. And secondly, you have the potential to make a lot more money than you would if you were working for someone else.

1. First - Create Your Ad

Use powerfull Keyword rich text in your ads so they will be picked up by search engines. Make sure your text is people Friendly and People Readable.

2. - Take a Picture and attach with your ad

You need a Picture with your ad. If you are serious about selling on product you will need a good Digital Camera, All things being Equal between 2 Ads the one with the best pictures will get the Best Bids.

03. You should try to place ads daily positively in the various responsive classified sites and if possible, place more ads
and everyday. If you have no database or classified sites you can mail me for classified database or you can search from google or yahoo.

04. 12. Headlines or Title of Ads is very much important factor for your success. When you start to place ads in Classified sites or Safelist, most of the sites require headlines. You should create title as per your Internet Business. So that title should be touchy and people can easily attract your ads. As per my experience, to start with 'How To" is very much effective for getting traffic.


05.Place ads in free directory and this will bring more traffic and it will inrease PR and high listing in major search engines. The followings are the free directory where you can place your listing in appropriate category.

06. Create Signature File for Maximum Exposure of Your Business : Signature File is one of the most important tool for Internet Marketing. You can advertise your product through signature file and it is very much effective. It is very much easy to create sig file. You can use sig file in Outlook Express or webbased email service like hotmail or yahoo etc. After login, you should click mail options and click signature file. Your signature file should not be longer than 6-7 lines and will contain some useful information of your product.

7 - Payment Options

It is always best to have lot's of Payment Options, Paypal, Credit Cards, Money Orders. If 2 Auctions are the same the one with the most flexible payment options will get the best bids :santa:

There...those are 10 proven steps to success, on not just the Internet, but in everyday life.

The proof is in the pudding. For example, ask literally anyone who has tried a home based get rich quick business, how it turned out for them. Then ask anyone who has followed anything remotely close to my 10 Secret Steps how things are working out for them.

The majority of the time, the people who tried the get rich quick method, became disappointed to find that getting rich isn't so quick, and definately not so easy, in the end feeling ripped off. Where the majority of the people who have followed a list similar to the one I outlined, are not only building solid stepping stones for success, but also a solid foundation for life.

Something about that sounds fimiliar with the girlfriend. hmmm I believe something along the lines and life was said last night. Thos are great points. Nothing comes easy and is easy. I work from 6:00 a.m. until 2:00 a.m. working on BHN. A couple partners of mine do not understand why anyone would want to do this. hmmm Work hard, business gross, I amek money, and I retire quicker. Its as simple and easy as that.

They may seem very obvious but it's what really does make or break a business. Not everyone can run a succesful business, alot of people simply don't have the passion or the determination to continue when things aren't going according to plan.

In order to make an impact on the Internet today you need something that offers the customer a great service (better than your competitors) price is irrelevent, you can under cut or price your products higher, if the service is better than theirs (in some way) then it will sell.

Talkfreelance is my current asset and within 10 months we've passed over 2,200 members and closing in on 70,000 posts....why has this been so succesful? I've tapped into a niche that wasn't really being exploited, mixing webdesign and business and providing a common place for all freelancer designers and developers to meet and share their ideas and problems.

Every business also needs a very strong marketing plan, without marketing your business you really won't get anywhere. I took the liberty of advertising my forum in a large online magazine in the uk, on several large websites and built a solid reputation quickly.

I also believe that attention to detail is everything! Take this forum for example, it looks very nice I have to agree.....but why are there no custom post icons? Take the time to get some made and the rewards will be obvious.
