Hi All. Looking for a host with outstanding 24/7 service. We are not looking for value here ... willing to pay for the service. Any suggestions?
We are basically a computer consulting company that hosts a few of our clients sites for them. It is not really a reseller environment, since we handle ALL the administration of their sites for them. And more so, most of our customers do not have webpages ... they simply use their domain for email.
UPTIME is key.
SERVICE is key ... we are relative newbies, and need lots of help when setting up anything with complexity.
I was told that hostgator would be great ... and am checking them out currently.
Would also love input on easy to use effective spam filters. We currently use a host that includes Postini ... and we are VERY happy with the spam removal (although the rest of the service is awful!)
Currently our needs ...
We have a VPS account
with about 28 domains (10 websites, 74 email accounts)
no ecommerce or database needs - just email and web
use alittle under 1GB of storage
bandwidth is a little high ... around 80 - 100 gb a month
We are very unhappy with the problems we have currently ... but maybe we have a plan that just cant handle what we are pushing through ... we have a VPS account with 256MB RAM and it seems like every few days we run into some kind of permissions problem or something else. I am refraining from naming the hosting company.
Any help would be GREAT!!!!
