Setting up New VOIP Servers

My company AAGTHosting.com is about to be setting up new VOIP servers. I have been looking into different GPL VOIP server solutions. Can anyone suggest a GPL VOIP server software for FreeBSD. I have been thinking of going with GNUTelephony.org.

I am also wondering if there is any other server software I need. Does anyone know? Do I need server software for a PBX or just the VOIP software?

I may be doing a voip cloud with Intel ATOM servers. I read somewhere that there were hard freezing problems with the ATOM and FreeBSD. Depending on whether FreeBSD runs good on the ATOM I may run Ubuntu Linux.

Either Asterisk or FreeSwitch are your best bets.

Asterisk is the most common VoIP platform for GPL
