Skype- Hardly ever used by customers?

Hi Guys, we've had Skype on our site and contact info for a while... and noticed that we've hardly received any communications via that method. We do have 30% international clients, but most everyone sticks to instant messenger, live chat, forums, email/helpdesk, phone.

I was curious what experience other hosts have had with Skype? Do your customers actually use and enjoy that you offer it? Just curious.
 
Yes we do use Skype as a method of communication alongwith others like instant messengers, live chat, forums, email/helpdesk, phone, although it is not used as much as other methods.
 
I have never really had to offer phone support. when I did no one eever used it. A cost that was not needed. But I also guess it depends on how well your support pages are set up and all that.
 
We use skype and it works very well. This is what we have purchased from skype:

SkypeOut - Able to call landlines and mobile phones.

SkypeIn - Our Phone Number

SkypeVoicmail - (Came with SkypeIn)

We also have unlimited calling for US and Canada.
 
Skype is really a good option to offer phone support, but it is less effective if both customer and service provider got to have skype installed, other wise its awesome.
