What all criteria do you use to appraise a domain?

I have few domains but can't afford to pay someone for their appraisals. I was wondering if i had some knowledge about criterias used, i may be able to save some $ and have some idea of domains i have or buy. What all criteria do you use to appraise a domain?

Well #1 is the spelling, meaning, length, extention. Optionally and usually it's better, if the domains i developed at all, does it have a good PR and get good traffic. The articale above explain a lot of good criteria used to appraise domains.

I agree. The shorter the domain and how relevant it can relate to the topic it is associated with, will bring in good money. Also good pagerank will also be a huge plus.
