Indeed it comes with richer functionality but that often is at the price of the server resources. Both scripts, as any social networking one, are pretty heavy, but Dolphin can be a real Shark in the resource consumption area (pun intended :rolleyes2). Oxwall is still among the few viable alternatives and we have clients who speak highly of its features and ease of use.

I use dolphin sites and offer these and they are anything but resource sharks.

what is resource eating is RMS which is needed to use the video comments and video chats, but that is on a separate servers on its one and only needed the RMS servers IP to link to dolphin site
