Who is the first premium host you used?

How long did you stay with your first host?
i stayed with mine for a few months, would have stayed longer but I closed the site.

I'm not quite sure what premium means I'm afraid.

Premium just means paid host

simplybehosted.com. I have used them for 2 months now. Their customer service is excellent. I asked a question at 5 o'clock and got a answer at 5:30.

Their servers have not been down once.

34sp.com was my first at £15 for a year!

My first was actually CI Host. I signed up the same week of the famous melt down in Dec. 1999. Hundreds of sites offline, data lost, no support, etc. I picked at random and went with OLM(olm.net). I stayed there over a year before moving to reseller/multi-domain options.

as well I used Lycos and the paid services... it as still slow, thats why I used 34sp.com instead.

Lycos is far to slow. Not really worth the money.
