Working hard!

Working hard is very time consuming. If you have a social life now get ready for not having one, if you want to become successful. Start thinking just about your business/dreams and what you can do to make them real. The difference between a goal and a dream is ______

A DEADLINE!!!

Working hard does not have to be time consuming, nor do you have to give up your social life to be successful. You need a balance of working smart, making sound business decisions, coupled with time for family and friends (and yourself).

Business starts with a plan (that's constantly reviewed and updated), then worked.

Goals have to be realistic, with some guidelines on how you intend to achieve them. Dreams are what you hope may happen. Goals are where you expect to be, given a realistic path to follow.

Although Steve put it elegantly, I'd agree for the most part. They say "Work smart not hard", but what happens if you work smart and hard.. Success. Some are willing to sacrifice their social and personal life to achieve goals sooner, but still some amount of balance is needed.

I'm a firm believer that if you've got a good head on your shoulders and work hard you'll be successful in whatever you do.

Like wise i agree with how /steve has put it. I think sucess comes when you work hard, good things come to those who work at it.

But, with everything you are your own person, you can do whatever you put your mind to.

You've never owned a restaurant have you Steve.

I like that saying "work smart not hard". I work everyday to keep fusion-hosts running and some days it is a little time consuming, but other times I'll spend part of the day working and the rest relaxing.

You do not have to work hard all day and have no social life, you just have to find a way that works for you on how to get things done right and fast.

I am always thinking about my company. What I can do next, right now I am figuring out photoshop better because I can't wait on the guy who did a redesign for my website. Everything happens for a reason and this is going to make me better at photoshop. Knowledge is :king:

LOL. When I was stationed at MCRD in San Diego, I was put on mess duty for one week - making salads, then cleaning the salad bars every evening. ICK.

My son works for US Foods and is now talking about opening a fried pizza parlor. I fully understand the extended hours restaurant owners put in - it's a time consuming business. But I work here and operate a brick and mortar hair salon, plus do web design on the side - so I stay busy. It's just a different kind of work. My son loves to cook food - I love to eat it. :) Certainly, my hat goes off to every successful restaurant owner.
