I tried to register a new domain now. But it says at the third step that "ERROR:A duplicate domain registration was found.". But the domain is still available. Whats wrong here??

Hey,

It could be that they already have an the domain name in the system waiting to go through.

Give it 24 hours, and then try again to get the domain name, it should work then unless someone else has got it.

BTW: When you have tried did any payments go through before you got the error?

maybe it has been put in order in godaddy ,but the cart has not been paid for, so it is not avaiable at GD but available at other place, i find this problem in other registrars also

Did you previously add this particular domain to your cart and begin the checkout process and did not finish? I had a customer have this issue previously and she had taken the domain and went so far as to checking out and then not paying, this threw the domain in a processing state and it was "hung" temporarily.
