Hi Everyone,
I am looking for the best solution for scanning websites and directories on shared hosting environments that have been hacked. I was thinking if there was a php antivirus solution that i could just upload a folder and point to the directory to perform a full antivirus & malware scan?

If anyone else has any suggestions would be great

Hi SenseiSteve,
I was thinking about a php stand alone script that can be uploaded to multiple shared hosting accounts on different servers. As CXS would not work in that type of scenario for hacked websites that need quick fix scanning.

I do agree.

CXS and Maldet ( Malicious Code Removal Software ) are the best options for you.

You can also install ClamAV Anti Virus. It's free to use.

Another free option is using maldet with the inotify option, which will scan all files created or modified for malware. It's free!
