I do not want to make an post that causes problems with other members so I decided to restate my post but am I the only one who thinks that society is going a bit to fast here I mean cloning, space travel, and now same sex marriage what is next...........

I think your examples have different issues. We have already started space travel and society can benefit from this.

Cloning has very strong moral issues involved. Do we really want to play god? On the other hand many medical uses could help society, but at what cost? Where do you draw the line what cloning is good and bad.

Same sex marriage is mostly a moral/religous and cultral issue. As we grow out of 19th century thinking alternateive do need to be considered. A related issue would be allowing priests to marry in the catholic church.

Some issues it is hard to removed the moral and personal issues. That is why people are so opinionated. And we will only see these issues getting realy hot as election time comes.

This isnt the thing for me but I dont have any problem with this, its the modern world and this isnt really something that causes as many problems/upsets as it used to.

I dont agree with cloning myself because I think thats going too far in playing God.

Space travel, Im totally for.
I dont see anything wrong with this and its just developing the reach/knowledge of our species
There is so much related to space that we dont have any idea about and I think it can only help humanity to find out more about whats out there

I think same sex marriage should have been allowed a long time ago. I am strait and enjoy the opposite sex but I still don't think that same sex marriage should not be allowed. People should have the right to marry if they love each other.

Cloning though is in my view going to far. That is just going to cause problems. Suddenly dna and fingerprints won't be capable of proving things in lets say a murder. Chances of arresting the wrong person will be much much higher. It's just not right.

It sounds like you are but you havent said your feelings on the subject yet

For me:

Gay Marriage: Doesnt make a bit of difference to me
Space Travel: For, cant see anything wrong with it and it is interested
Cloning: Against, people shouldnt play god like this..
