Ran across these yesterday. I'm wondering what Google has in store for us this year?

Quote:
Google Gulp (2005) – An energy drink that supposedly boosted drinkers’ intelligence, allowing them to use Google more efficiently.
Google Romance (2006) – An online dating service powered by Google’s search algorithm, offering “contextual dates.”
Google TiSP (2007) – A Toilet Internet Service Provider that mocked Internet-via-power-line services by promising broadband ‘net access via your sewer line.
AdSense for Conversations (2008) – One of about a dozen hoaxes in ‘08, this product offered to serve contextual ads — via a large LCD whiteboard hat — based on what you say out loud to other human beings.

You know each year its gotta get better somehow and a little more tricky. If you were Google what would you do? I know what I would do but we can just blame that on me being sneaky today since I really do not want to be working and have been hiding like a ninja for the most part.

Lol. Me too, I wonder what Google has stored for us this year. I bet it's going to be exciting since it just gets better each year. But I'm not going to be fooled this year too!

Every year, Google seems to top itself on April 1, so this year needs to be real outstanding....the best thing about their pranks is that they always come with a hint of plausibility.

Google will stop Internet by shutting down all their services for 1 day with a message "all servers are in maintenance" to see just how many more suicides take place as a result that day.

I imagine that traffic levels across the web will drop instantly. Then everyone will switch to yahoo or bing. The joke would be on Google.

Sure, but imagine the dramatic "downtime" the kids will go through. Priceless!
