Weather has been pretty crazy lately in my area. I haven't been able to sleep much due to the atmospheric conditions. A lot of my friends seem to complain about the same stuff. Is there anything else besides complaining that I can do to mitigate this discomfort?

Let's see .. install air conditioning, a de-humidifier or move. What atmospheric conditions?

Depending on what is going on - earplugs work wonders too. But I guess everyone wants to know what conditions are you referring to, and then the other option, how much does it affect you that you'd pack up and leave to another location?

Everything in life is about Pros and Cons. I love the 80 deg weather in Omaha in the summer, I don't like 3 feet of snow in the winter. I loved Southern California for the weather and recreation, but I hated paying the dollar amount. I loved Northern California for the price, and the weather, except for 4 weeks in summer when it goes to 115+ deg and humidity. Love the cheap golf courses in Nebraska $35/round, hate that they're only open 7 months of the year.

I hear you Conor. I loved San Diego and 29 Palms while I was there, but nothing beats Kailua, HI for weather. Used to like snow as a kid, but now just give me a beach and some sunshine. Unfortunately, St. Louis has no beaches - and the weather here goes from one extreme to the other.

29 Palms is great except for all the Yucca trees, and the sand, and the heat, and the snakes, and the rocks, and the bars just off base and the stars - wait, what did I like about 29 again? hehe

I was actually THINKING about hitting up St. Louis here this weekend (girlfriend has family there), but at the last minute plans changed and I'm stuck here One of these days I'll make it back to that city.

I never made it to HI yet, it's on my todo list though. Bahamas this winter, but maybe Hawaii in Spring

Well, it was just that - hot and cold all week long. Temperatures were more than wild. I was restless every single night. Oh, and I'm currently far away from the States...
