Read this morning where Justin Timberlake has invested in MySpace. From the San Francisco Business Times

It is certainly an interesting development which could be attributed to Google's Third attempt to take a Swing at Facebook, simply due to the stir it will no doubt produce which will certainly cause users to start re-thinking their choice over time.

It seems Google have certainly learnt from previous mistakes and with their New data centres and substantial network through to selective testing before release, as well as improving on many of the annoyances of other Social networks as well as adding something new.

MySpace certainly has s a lot of work to do to keep up with what is set to become an interesting battle of the giants... only time will tell.. certainly going to be an interesting year.

MySpace has been for sale for some time now.
News Corp. hoped to receive an amount close to $100m, but it was just $35m at the end. This is how you go from $580m to $35m. It was a stupid overvalued acquisition by Murdoch in the first place.

Justin Timberlake to the rescue!!!! He will get big music acts to sign up and will kinda turn myspace into more of a group hang out rather than a game place.
