I normally have 5 or 6 pens at my desk because I do a lot of writing (filling out orders) , but today I found myself with just one pen, and it's broken. I finally had to give up, because it's pointless.

LOL I have about 3 pens, 3 pencils and 5 markers on my desk right now, that I can see (sometimes I find them under other stuff, my desk is a bit messy).

My God, Steve, you are not in a doctor's office, you must get a computer to fill out orders on!

Looks great, but I still have to turn in paperwork, in duplicate. I email order forms to begin provisioning, though. I have a massive file cabinet in my room just to store paperwork.

Green does sound great and paperless even better, but it is what is for now. I was involved with Docuware for awhile, but that's ultra expensive software.

Might be the programmer in me talking here , however depending on the type of paperwork.. orders? why not setup an internal LAMP server and create a PHP CRM or system to do the job?.... could always add a print page if still necessary
