Most of the hosting companies who claim unlimited space etc actually know well that hardly any site would require extra space than alloted. 99% of the sites they host don't actually occupy all the resources of the host. Hence the clever way of advertising!

When you claim unlimited ANYTHING, it is an outright lie and false advertising. Any time you ever see a host offering any of this crap, I take it as a sign to avoid them like the plague. But still, many companies continue to make these bogus claims. How come nobody has attempted to sue any of them for false advertising by now? Surely it has to be long overdue.

The term "Unlimited" is only marketing niche to attract more customer. Customer are often attract to such keyword "Unlimited" or "Free".
