Hello i was thinking of doing some business with this company. Can you please tell me how is managed.com? Like is the support and the network good?

havent used before, they have both good and bad news.

Their price is pretty good, fast network but it seems that they have some problems with supporting service. My suggestion is going to read threads about them.

Yes, I heard the same thing about there support. People are saying that they say they give 24/7 support but they actually give 9-12 hour support. Support too me is very important.

Depends on what you define as 'important' really.
Sub 12 hr responses/resolved (big difference) , as the majority, not once in while they answer faster than 12hrs..... Well then I would highly suggest direct employees.
If your idea is more sub 24hr, then most of these 3rd party support systems will work for you.

Personally, I don't use Managed.com, however I wouldn't recommend them.

Ever heard of UnitedColo?

managed.com's Customer service is absolutly appauling. The support is non existant, leaving me with a 3-4 day downtime with no reasoning/compensation. My friends server was lost for 3 weeks. Yet they wouldnt allow any reimburstment or compensation.

STEER CLEAR.

they quote one price and charge another
support is unavailable @ w/ends
they turn a box off instead of power cycling it and 4 *days* later respond to emails about turning it back on

I have a box with managed.com and ev1 I always got through with managed and ev1 no downtimes for neither of the dedicated server providers.

we have a few servers with managed.com. There have been a few network outages which were unplanned, but overall I'd give their service an A-. They are a better choice if chosing between EV and managed.

Can you please let me know what is there present status of their service. I learn from diffrent forum that there service and support are not good. I was thinking for sign-up with them but now not sure what to do. As you are one of their user so i request some support from your side about this matter. Thanks for your help.
