H4Y Technologies acquires iWebFusion Technologies

H4Y Technologies, a web hosting and an ISP company, has acquired iWebFusion Technologies, a web host based in Oregon. iWebFusion will keep its own brand and there will be no changes to the billing, staff or structure of the company. Customer services will not be interrupted since no equipment will be moved.

Fortress International Group lands six new contracts

Fortress International Group has been awarded six new contracts with total value of approximately $39.4 million. This deal brings the company’s total new business won to $46.5 million since the end of the second quarter. Four of the contracts are design and construction projects while the other two are facility management.

Synetrix-Node3 partnership

Applications and managed services provider Synetrix has partnered with Node4, a data center operator in UK. It initially provided Synetrix with colocation space in two halls at the Derby, UK DC2 data center. Node4’s third data center called DC3 will be opened soon. ICANN orders bulk domain transfer, fines Red Register

ICANN has ordered Red Register to transfer its domain names to DirectNIC after the company violated several conditions of an agreement called the Registrar Accreditation Agreement. Red Register also must pay a fine in the amount of $15,600 to ICANN for neglecting to pay accreditation fees.

UK home improvement group Kingfisher to colocate with SSE Data Centers

A new long-term colocation deal has been signed by SSE Data Centres with Kingfisher, a UK home improvement group. Kingfisher has over 820 stores in eight countries. It chose SSE because of its energy efficient environment. The size of the SSE data center is 80,000 square feet and it has 15MW of power.
