WebhostingDay 2010: dates, location, speakers

The first of many web hosting conferences to be held in 2010, dubbed WebhostingDay 2010, has officially opened visitor registration via its web site, opening doors to the general public that lead to presentations and exhibits from companies ranging from industry innovators like Parallels to hardware manufacturers such as Intel. The event is planned to run from March 17 to March 19, 2010.

Organized in large part by German company Intergenia AG, WebhostingDay 2010 will be held for the second time in the beautiful city of Phantasialand in Brühl, Germany, a short distance from the famous locale of Cologne. Presentations are planned from more than 70 companies and firms including Intel, Parallels, Microsoft, AMD, HP, VeriSign and Fujitsu with the expectation of the attendance of hundreds of industry insiders from the CEO/CTO level as evidenced by last year’s turnout of 2,500 visitors from more than 20 countries with a full 51% of those being chief executives.

Events will include the planned main.FORUM and hosting.SESSIONs events for the first two days respectively, where attendees are able to freely discuss burgeoning technology and view presentations offered by industry innovators. Social events are also kept at the forefront with the third and final day of the conference offering the ConneXion Party and BizBrunch networking events, a sort of meet-and-greet to allow for the making of additional contacts following the events, speeches and presentations. The main event, dubbed hosting.FAIR, will run for all three days of the event in the form of a showroom featuring exhibits and presentations from all partners.

Those looking to register to attend are offered several options, including a standard pass to allow access to all main events including three days of catering and invitations to the ConneXion Party and BizBrunch events; the VIP pass adds onto that the networking tool VIPconnect, a VIP-only party following the conference, reserved seating at all presentations and included concierge service.

Interested in attending one of the biggest web hosting events of the year? The comprehensive official web site of WebhostingDay 2010 offers registration purchase options, detailed information about Phantasialand and its sights and attractions, the ability to reserve hotel space and a comprehensive list of all attendees, updated as necessary.
