GoDaddy builds new customer service center, hires 60 people

Domain registrar GoDaddy.com is expecting to open its new customer care center it is currently building in Iowa. The company plans to hire approximately 60 people (locally) in order to support the new customer service office.

Gogax releases new customer portal

Gogax unveiled its new customer portal, in which it has improved on account management functions, detailed bandwidth reports, and operating system reloads. Before the official launch, customers tested the new portal to weed out bugs and test functionality. The new technology is offered at no cost with all regular server products.

Slamdot opens first web hosting retail store

Slamdot, a Knoxville-based web development and web hosting company has unveiled a first-of-its-kind retail store selling professional web site packages.
